Railway Interface Planning.

Harcon are a provider of Railway Interface Planning support services; This includes Possession Management, Track Access Planning and Any Line Open Working risk mitigation to Clients operating on or around Managed Infrastructures.

What is Any Line Open (ALO) Working?

ALO Working – where any railway lines open to traffic could foreseeably be fouled by any vehicle, plant, attachment or the loads associated with them.

ALO risk mitigation considers all types of On Track Plant (OTP), civil construction plant, vehicles and any other motorised vehicle capable of operation in rail or road mode.

There is a legal requirement to undertake a suitable and sufficient assessment of the ALO risk, as a result of the initial assessment you may be required to develop a detailed and comprehensive ALO Work Plan.

How can Harcon Solutions support you?

Our team are experts in the field of ALO working which enables them to support and guide your operational delivery teams during the construction phase of your projects. Our service offering is fully integrated and includes:

  2. Undertaking a site visit, which will consider and assess the risk to operational Managed Infrastructure.

Harcon Solutions can provide the key ALO assurance resources (ALO Planner, ALO Responsible Manager and ALO Coordinator) required to effectively plan, manage and coordinate ALO working on or around Network Rail managed infrastructure.
